They both attended signings, twilight proms , and had time to settle out a few rumors.
"Lutz, who plays vampire Emmett Cullen in the cult teenage film, is the latest to be linked to Lohan following her break-up with girlfriend Samantha Ronson.
But Lutz took the time to set the record straight.
"Someone just told me this, it's funny," he told AAP.
"It's crazy to read stuff about yourself and you're like where do people get this stuff from.
"I've met Lindsay once - like a year ago at just like an event and it was like, hey, hey, that's it."
