Interview with Peter on scvenes already shot

Where are you so far?

Peter Facinelli: "Well, nothing's shot in order but we've shot the…let's see…the birthday scene. We've shot that. And we've the voting scene. I'm not going to tell you what we all voted, but read the book. What else did we shoot? I shot stitching up Bella which was a lovely little scene. I pretty much mostly almost finished. I have a couple other shots to do in May and then we're done."

Have they added more Cullen family scenes?

Peter Facinelli: "You know, it's hard because when you're doing stuff that's based on a book, if you add too much that's not in there the fans don't like it. I think we're… There's always going to be creative interpretations of stuff. But as far as adding stuff, there's so much in it already, it's hard to add. You have a 500 page book that you've got to squeeze down to two hours."

Sunday he and his dad hooked up for a friendly lunch with a girl he used to work with back in the Nickelodeon days. Vancouver is a major production hotspot right now! The girl was accompanied by her mother who is also her publicist. Needless to say, mom/publicist was hoping she could hitch a ride onto Taylor who now, as you know, has earned a very high profile.

As for what’s happening on set of New Moon today – continuing to shoot break up and Bella losing it and some scenes with Bella and Jacob in her room. Tomorrow, it’s a movie theatre and an Edward apparition and a motorcycle or something.

Cutlass stars Kristen & Dakota

"Since not everyone can experience the downtown Manhattan hootenanny known as the Tribeca Film Festival in person, the folks at said fest have arranged for four short films to be available at the YouTube Screening Room. One of these shorties is Cutlass, a 16-minute interlude written and directed by Kate Hudson. It stars Kristen Stewart, Virginia Madsen, Dakota Fanning, Kurt Russell, and Chevy Chase, and it's a devastatingly heartwarming story of the lifelong bond parents share with their children...when they buy stuff. Okay, fine. Perhaps I'm being a tad glib. Here's the story: Madsen plays a mom whose daughter (Fanning) covets a $1,200 vintage guitar, which reminds her of the time her 1970s self (Stewart) convinced her pops (Russell) to help her buy her very first car from a man named Stan (Chase). The production value is sky-high -- check out the lighting on Stewart in particular; girl looks gorgeous! -- and obviously, Hudson has a leg-up on most first-time filmmakers when it comes to casting famous folks."

INKED: Let's talk tattoos. How many do you have?
JACKSON RATHBONE: I only have one right now, but I definitely plan on getting more. My friends and I were kind of the bad kids in school, the troublemakers. We went to Interlochen Arts Academy, this really great boarding school in Michigan, and there were six of us who were always acting out against authority. The school administration was like, "Stay away from those boys-they're ‘Lost Boys,'" so that's what everyone called us. When I was 18, I got a tattoo that says, "I'm lost."

What kind of shenanigans did you guys get into?
Remember the prohibition era? It was kind of like that.

Did you have a speakeasy in your dorm room?
Let's just say we had a lot of alcohol on the premises that we weren't supposed to have. We kept whiskey in shampoo bottles and vodka in conditioner bottles. A few of my friends were actually expelled.

You're in a band too, called 100 Monkeys. So who's wilder-the 100 Monkeys groupies or the Twilight groupies?
We're just so happy to have fans at all. The 100 Monkeys fans are wild-one of my band mates once got molested in a bathroom after a show. The Twilight fans are so amazing-they're always asking me to sign stuff, like their faces, or their cell phones. I'm like, I don't want to de-face your cell phone! And I especially don't want to de-face your face.

Are you signed on for the next Twilight movie, New Moon?
Wait, there's another one? [Laughs.] Just kidding. Yes, I'm on board. I actually go up to Toronto to start training in a few days.

What other tattoos do you plan on getting?
I'd love to get the Rathbone family crest on my back-it would take up my whole back. Our motto is "Suaviter et Fortiter," which means "nicely, but firmly." My dad always taught me that you've got to give respect to get respect, and you've got to give love to get love. Makes sense, right?

Cameron talks fame, Dakota, and filming

"Even if you're in it for five minutes, you're huge," says the Victoria-born actor who made his debut in a Telus commercial. "You're revered."

Not surprisingly, he has also been getting more attention from female friends.

"I say 'no' right away, because when they walk up to me I can sense what they're going to say," he says, laughing. " 'Can you get me Robert Pattinson's autograph?' "

". . . he should get to know her quickly on the Vancouver set. "In our first scene I get to kiss her on the cheek."

Since his scenes are interiors, he won't be joining her when exterior Volturi sequences are shot in Tuscany, however.

Peter says he is the best on night shoots

"I love night shoots. Everybody else is [tired] by like two, three in the morning, which is weird because I'm the old guy!" Facinelli tells PEOPLE at the Los Angeles premiere of Ghosts of Girlfriends Past on Monday night.

"They should be the ones that should be like party hardy all night long," jokes the 35-year-old of his young costars including Robert Pattinson, 22, Kristen Stewart, 19, and 17-year-old Taylor Lautner. "At five in the morning I was like, 'I could go another 10 hours!' And they were like, 'Crash!' "

Brooke Shields Rescues Rob & Hangs with Twilight Cast

"They were hanging out together last night at a bar/lounge – Brooke Shields with Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Rachelle Lefevre, and several others.

You’ll recall, Brooke and Pattinson were on the same flight together from LA on Sunday night. Famous people meeting famous people and then becoming friends. Funniest part of the story though:

At one point RP was approached by some fans, he politely spoke to them, it was dragging on. So Brooke comes in for the rescue!

“Excuse me, I need to take him now”.

Cute, non?

Brooke is lucky she wasn’t attacked by a twi-hard. They can get out of control.

And please, please, please, before you start… absolutely not. She was acting more the part of a mother or older sister. Don’t even go there.

Brooke eventually left, leaving the kids to have their fun. And they did. Lots of laughter, maybe some card playing, and because I know this detail will matter to you: Pattinson kept his hood on the entire time.

If Channing Tatum hasn’t read the Twilight books, he may want to start.

At least one very important person in the movie adaptations of Stephenie Meyer’s vampire love story thinks Tatum would be perfect to play bad-boy vampire Riley in Eclipse, the third in the four-book series.

“There’s a very big battle at the end with Riley, and I think Channing would do that so well,” Twilight and New Moon screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg, who is currently writing the Eclipse script, told us this weekend at the Los Angeles Times Book Festival benefit for the Writers Guild Foundation.

“And there are some complexities to that character," she adds. "He really is tragic. He’s a puppet for Victoria [bad-girl vampire played by Rachelle Lefevre]. So he has to break your heart a little bit at the end when he realizes that she doesn’t want him. Channing could do that beautifully.”

Rosenberg also confirmed some good news for Robert Pattinson fans...

Even though Edward Cullen may not be in the New Moon novel as much as he is in the others, she promised we’ll be seeing plenty of the Brit actor in the flick, which is currently shooting in Vancouver with director Chris Weitz.

“In the book, he’s actually an enormous presence in [Bella’s] mind,” Rosenberg said. “He’s so present in her mind throughout the entire center of the book, so we really played off that, and it kept him alive in a slightly different way, but fans will feel it’s true to the book. You can’t have a Twilight without Rob Pattinson.”

And Rosenberg says you also can’t have a Twilight movie with anything more adult than a PG-13 rating. She has yet to be hired to write the script for the fourth, Breaking Dawn, but she thinks it’s safe to assume the book’s more graphic violent scenes will be tailored to keep it accessible for Twilight’s teen moviegoing audience.

“Our fans are in the PG age range, and I don’t feel a big necessity to see violence, and to see gore,” Rosenberg said. “I don’t need to see that. This whole series is more about their relationship. It’s not about the gore. I mean, there are some scary and special elements to it, but the series is really about relationships and coming of age and owning one’s power.”

Rob lands in L.A., Nikki walks dog

"Robert Pattinson slipped away from Vancouver this weekend for a quick break to LA. Returned back on Sunday night to continue working on New Moon. A few bedroom dream sequences are happening early this week. Then an interesting shoot later on. More details in the coming days.

As for his time in Los Angeles – he stayed relatively uncover, perhaps popping in to see a friend or two. Nikki Reed is his friend. Nikki’s in LA too. Here she is on a dog walk with friend Sage on Friday. At press time, no sign of Nikki on Saturday or Sunday. Have received many emails re: her super cute glasses. Nikki looks great in her glasses. Will post if I find out what brand.

Back to Rob - soon as he arrived back in Vancouver, he hooked up with Ashley Greene and Rachelle Lefevre at a pub for a few drinks to unwind."

Nikki's brother documents Twilight, kinda

“My brother goes to UCLA, and he’s making a documentary right now called ‘The Glorification of Celebrities’,” revealed Nikki Reed when we spoke with her a little while ago, explaining a small film that will feature herself, Kristen Stewart and other young stars commenting on the newfound power and pressure bestowed on them practically overnight. “’Twilight’ will play a role in it, but it is just about [exploring]: What is the definition of being a celebrity now?

Walk up to any supermarket checkout these days and you’ll be inundated with tabloid headlines screaming about what RPattz is up to, who Nikki is dating, or what outrageous quote KStew supposedly let slip. But as they’ve gone from relative unknowns to magazine-selling celebs, Reed’s brother Nathan has been chronicling the rise of the “Twilight” phenomenon with his camera.

“I think fans with be able to see this,” she said of the flick, which the Reeds expect to graduate beyond the little-seen world of student films. “I am trying to be as involved as I possibly can. I think ‘Twilight’ was a wonderful thing for him to use [in the film], because it escalated quite quickly. It went from being this little tiny book series that none of the actors really knew anything about to this explosion that happened somewhere around the summer [of 2008]; I started walking outside and people started yelling ‘Rosalie!’”

Well… she was definitely holding someone’s hand this weekend: her boyfriend’s. His name is Michael Arangano. And as I reported last week, Summit was not happy with Kristen when she was photographed with Michael in Vancouver a few weeks ago. The studio wants to encourage speculation re: Kristen and Rob to keep the twi-freaks happy even though there is nothing going on between the two co-stars and the rumours of a split from Michael are baseless. But Kristen, as evidenced by the incident with the pipe on her front steps, has, if nothing else, asserted that she’s not some cookie cutter Disney pawn. (( Hallelu-freakin-juh ))

Which is why Michael is back in town, seen with Kristen on Saturday. Looks like Kristen is breaking the rules. Good.

But she got caught.

They went for sushi, she playfully hopped on his back, then when she realised she was being papped, she quickly jumped off. The two continued on their way all awkward and sh-t. She looks great, right? Very pretty, beautiful skin. Happy.

Am told exclusively that they spent a romantic weekend together – Michael arranged for accommodation at a different hotel, with an open ocean view, and they were able to escape for a day from the crowds waiting outside all the time.
